Burning Down The House
After the Barcade has a kitchen fire, Viktor tries to find ways to occupy his time.
- This can only be done late in the first phase. After an untimely kitchen fire at the Barcade, Viktor has to close the shop for a few days while it’s being renovated. Displaced, and a bit put off, Viktor tries to find other ways to keep himself busy.
- First, the Freelancer finds Viktor attempting to fish. But he keeps telling jokes to the other fisherman, and no one catches anything.
- Next, the Freelancer catches Viktor trying to “help” the good Doctor by shaking up their medicines for them (as a joke, mostly) but is quickly shoo’d away by Anasa.
- Then The Freelancer discovers that Viktor is trying to help Zia with farm work, but everyone keeps getting distracted by his story-telling, and Zia complains that work isn’t getting done.
- Finally, The Freelancer makes a point to distract Viktor, but when they seek him out, Viktor is comfortably in his own Barcade, telling jokes, mixing drinks, and entertaining all of his guests— just where he loves to be. Viktor thanks the Freelancer for calming everyone down, and apologizes for acting like “a lost old man” for a few days and offers a free meal/drink to the player. This also means an expansion to the Barcade— a new mini game and new items for sale.
