What Goes Bump In The Night!
The Freelancer helps Vulcana investigate what triggers her shops security alarms at night, the result of which being that Vulcana adopts a stray pet!
Vulcana calls the authorities because a motion alarm for her security system starts going off but she’s not seeing anything being stolen or damaged. That night, the freelancer gets a notification on their comm device. The alarm is going off again. When the freelancer gets there, they don’t see anyone there. This happens two more nights.
The freelancer approaches Vulcana about re-aiming her security cameras lower to the ground because they have hunch. Skeptical, but willing to comply as Vulcana wants to get to the bottom of what’s going on, she obliges. That night, the alarm goes off again, and this time, they capture a wild cat-animal on the camera.
Three nights later, when the Freelancer meets with Vulcana again, Vulcana is in possession of the same cat from the camera, and they can be seen at Vulcana’s tech smith shop, lounging around or perching on equipment from then on.
