Jean wants to commission Pablo to do the art for her book but is too shy to ask. The Freelancer arranges the commission and the two go into business!
- Jean is ready to publish her new book, but she wants her novel cover to be unique and feels like the publisher’s cover is boring and not very good. So, she wants to commission Pablo Ng to make her book cover— but she’s too shy to ask him outright for the commission. The Freelancer offers to ask Pablo on her behalf.
- Pablo is willing to do the work— what Jean is offering to pay him is generous— but the perfect idea that he has is going to require painting using a special brush and sends the Freelancer to track down a monster that drops a special kind of fur in order for him to make the paint brush.
- After completing this quest, Jean Walker and Pablo Ng start their comic together.
