Trickter's Tungstun

This material is one of many used in enchanting. Used in rigid enchanted objects like hammers, wrenches, swords, and the like, it carries an enchantment from the the spell core throughout the rest of the object. The high capacity for magical energy was compared to tungsten's high capacity for heat. Despite its striking visual resemblance to tungsten, it shares very few physical properties in common with it. Thus, this material was called "Tricksters Tungsten."
It has a shares a consistency between lead and gold, though is still a metal so takes a reasonable amount of force to pull to shape. It is often embossed into patterns for items and objects it is used to enchant. This is due to the soft and pliable nature of the metal. It is also one of the lightest metals known to humankind. As a result it is invaluable to techsmiths and other trade workers of the sort. It is also used to send magical energy over long distances.
It has a curious property that it's smell changes depending on what type of enchantment it has on it. Destruction Enchantments smell like Fireworks and moss. Perceptive Enchantment smell like Bleach and marshmallows. Physical enchantments smell like sweat and New Car leather.
It is unknown whether these odors are actually part of the Trickster's Tungsten or if these odors are smelled this way as an affect of the magical properties that allow it to transfer enchantments. A warping of perception based on what users believe such an enchantment "feels" like or and production of chemicals that have the smell.
Whether the former or the later, it would revolutionize what the Resonant Collective understands about metaphysical science. To produce specific materials from energy or to have a universal would be completely earthshaking (If most of the Resonant Collective was not on Earth.) Perhaps both are true. That would truly be mind bending.
A more common vector medium for transferring magic and enchantments. Soft and flexible, it is often used where mobile resilience is preferred of raw toughness.
