They also have a permanently closed Nictitating membrane that gives the impression that they have no irises or pupils, when in reality they are just underneath the membrane. this can actually be seen if one is close enough to their eyes. if one were to peel back this membrane they would see that the iris is actually very thin and the pupil incredibly large, lead to the hypothesis that the permanantly closed memebrane helps prevent blindness. Though, as the Great Transformation, was a very fast event as opposed to an event of slow selective pressure, the guidelines of conventional evolutionary explaination are difficult to apply.

They have great eyesight, even better than Sapiex. This is due to them also having structures in their eyes that can see not only just outside the visible spectrum in both directions. In addition their horns act as a radar for whatever elemental spectrum they are aligned to.
