For fifty thousand years the Dynasty of Tezcatlipocl ruled with an Icon of the Dragon to serve as chief to all until Thunderbird reminds us of who we are and disbands the dynasties.

The Dynasties of the Húro-eä, called the Empire of Tezcatlipoca, lasted for fifty thousand years with mighty Emperors chosen by the dragons which flew hither and thither.   Forgetting the temperence of Vinya, many of the Dynasties ruled and built mighty temples and ziggurats spiraling to the sky. To the dragons many were sacrificed by knife or by games.   The pride of dragons bled into the hearts of the peoples of Storm-World and the Empire grew to become the mightiest nation known in the world.   Mighty legions of koradi flew dragons and were called Angohirrim, the Dragon Riders and they made war as the old emperor saw fit, whether for good or evil. The bond between Angohirr and dragon was inseperable: in those days, the chromatic dragons were feathered. Though they were mostly bound to earthly violence, they were holy creatures and could learn to do great good and slay beasts, whether mortal or supernatural. The dragons are a symbol of fear and reverence.   Then one day, Thunderbird grew tired of the hubris of us all, who forgot the Storm-World and the beginning times. Thus began the Thunderbird's cycle, for it flapped its wings and brought great storms down; and disease wrought the dragons and slew them; and many calamities faced the old empire which sunk into ruin and was forgotten. And we repented and grew back to the humility of the old days.   For 500 years there was chaos and darkness until the world was birthed anew. And from the destruction of the storm, all torn asunder, there was a rainbow egg left there by Coyote, as a symbol of newfound faith in the people of Storm-World. During this point the humans fled to other lands.   The egg hatched and a multicolored Fey dragon, a trickster but not evil, symbolized peace and a return to the old ways. His name was Ilweran, and he lived for two hundred years. When he died, his body made the land flourish and gave us everything to sustain us. And Coyote walked Storm-World once more.
