Lawful Evil God of Hell, Devils, Tyranny, Despotism, Fascism, and Corruption Names: Asmodeus (Common) Katos (Vulgar Celestial) Infernus (Celestial) Diyu (Wiltish) Alshaitan (Kinspeak) Angbandor (Elvish) Morgoroth (Sylvan) Also known as: The Devil, King of Evil, Lord of Hell, Devil-King Asmodeus represents law and evil, ruling Hell, which some call the Nine Hells, where Lawful Evil souls are said to go after death. Many cults and dark creatures worship Asmodeus, and Devils are said to originate in Hell. He is tempered, charismatic, and can speak many tongues and appear in many forms. Followers understand that violence and chaos towards beings achieves no goals, and work in subtle, self-serving, toxic, manipulative ways. Asmodeus and many of his devils love manipulating the Good into evil. Tieflings are descended from Asmodeus and Hell, though many reject him or are ashamed of their background. It is said he is in an eternal Blood War with the Demons of the Abyss. He often appears as a beautiful, attractive well-spoken man or woman, or a mighty horned devil, or a snake, with which he is associated. His worship is almost universally outlawed.
