Gnome
One of the Elder Races, the Gnomes are most tied closely with Metal of the primordial elements. Gnomes are often renowned for their cunning and acute engineering skills, ushering forward novel and exciting new technologies, ideas, and arcane implementations.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
One point of pride for gnomes is their illustrious hair and facial hair. Gnomish hair comes in many different colors and varieties, and gnomes never suffer pattern baldness or naturally occuring hair loss of any sort. For this reason, it is said it is good luck to rub a gnome's head if your hair is falling out.
Male gnomes' facial hair is a point of pride, though not as deeply culturally engrained in family history as it is for dwarves. Indeed, male dwarves often pride themselves on shaping or growing unique, pointed facial hair, which almost never grows all across the face, but in the mustachio and chin areas.
Gnomish hair can be the natural range of humanoid colors as well as silver, blue, purple, pink, green, red, and so on.
Growth Rate & Stages
Gnomes mature at the same rate humans do, and most are expected to settle down into an adult life by around age 40. They can live 350 to almost 500 years.

Wrought from the Element of Metal, the GODS deigned to forge we Nomes to be Crafty; and crafty indeed we were! In short, here is a Highly Truncated List of the Inventions of Nomes:There are many More but siffice it There. We are Widely Immigrated, making ourselves Useful in All Corners of the Spire, in All the Realms, and we Seek Peace and Understanding. We see ourselves not as One People but as Many Peoples, and Disparate.
