Social Structure
Zombies are prone toward close knit communities composed of several large families, with the the most senior of each family serving as a matriarch or patriarch. These figures are not necessarily the authorities of their communities, but are often the centers or hearts. Leadership structure in zombie communities are varied, but often take the form of councils or parliaments, depending on the size of the community. Huskers are no different, though are more prone to patriarchal leaders than other zombies, and tend to live in smaller communities. Their leaders are most often family heads.
Huskers are inclined toward acceptance of other zombies, though are more fearful of other species. Their societal sense of solidarity with one another as a species is ingrained in them, to the point of racism among subspecies of zombies being inarguably almost nonexistent. Xenophobia in the form of actual fear of other species is very prevolent within zombie communities.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Zombies as a species have gradually progressed beyond the majority of their persecution. However graverobbing and abduction is a prevalent issue among zombies; specifically for the useful properties of their bodily fluids, organs, and bones. Their regeneration makes a single zombie an ample source of spell components and potient ingredients.
Huskers specifically are often victims of organ theft as their organs store abundant Orange Chroma, particularly within their hearts.
Facial characteristics
Huskers have relatively flat faces with two forward facing eyes, distinct, movable eyebrows, a triangular, cartilage based nose*, and proper lips and cheeks. Their jaws have 32 teeth, with 8 incisors, 4 canines, 8 premolars, and 12 molars. Their jaws are, on average, adaquately sized to retain their wisdom teeth.
*Many huskers lose their nose due to cartilage degredation or injury. A husker with a completely abscent nose is also considered normal.
