Wild-Thing
Background:
Zoey Parker, aka Wild-Thing, is a force of nature wrapped in old boot leather and sprayed with pure Arkansas grit. She's the Miscreants' resident "tank," tough as nails and always ready to take a hit (or deliver one).
Her powers manifested in a rather unconventional way. As a rebellious young girl, she snuck into an abandoned chemical plant on a dare from some older kids in her neighborhood. They'd dared her to prove she wasn't scared, and Zoey, never one to back down from a challenge, took them up on it. The dare led her to a hidden pond of toxic sludge deep within the plant. One misstep later, and she was submerged. What should have been a fatal accident instead activated her dormant Extra metagene, transforming her into a walking wall – a nearly indestructible force of nature. She emerged from the chemical bath unscathed, her clothing the only casualty. The experience solidified her rebellious streak and instilled in her a deep distrust of authority figures and anyone who tried to tell her what to do.
Growing up in Springdale, Zoey learned to rely on herself. She honed her natural toughness, developing a thick skin both literally and figuratively. She embraced her wild side, pushing boundaries and testing limits. She learned to fight, to hustle, and to survive on her own terms. She developed a reputation as someone you didn't want to mess with, someone who could out-drink you, out-fight you, and out-cuss you any day of the week.
Zoey is the toughest thing to ever come in a skinny 5'0" package. She claims to be an anti-hero looking out for number one, but she has a suspicious streak of loyalty to her team and a habit of doing the right thing, even if she grumbles about it the whole way. Deep down, she has a strong moral compass, even if she tries to hide it beneath layers of sarcasm and bravado. She's fiercely protective of her friends and will go to any lengths to defend them.
Personality:
Zoey lives up to her name – she's wild, untamed, and always ready for a good time (or a good fight). She has a "small dog that thinks it's a big dog" energy, always ready to prove herself and never backing down from a challenge. She's spunky, rebellious, and fiercely independent. She enjoys taking risks, whether it's diving headfirst into a dangerous situation or partying all night long.
Her extreme resistantce to toxins (Such as Alcohol) makes her the life of any party, and she's always up for a dare. Despite her rough exterior and her claims of self-interest, she has a soft spot for her team and a deep-seated sense of justice.
She might complain about it, but she'll always be there to protect her friends and fight for what's right. She has a dry wit and a sarcastic sense of humor, often using humor to deflect serious emotions.
She's fiercely loyal to the Miscreants, considering them her chosen family, and she'd do anything for them. She has a particularly close bond with Mosh the scrapper archetype to her tank archetype , whom she teases relentlessly but secretly admires. Underneath her tough exterior, she's surprisingly sensitive and caring, although she'd never admit it.
She's a force to be reckoned with, both in and out of costume, a true Wild Girl at heart.
