Green Mantis

Background:
Once the apex predator of China's covert assassination corps, Xian Sheng was betrayed by the very state that forged him. After completing a high-profile political termination, his extraction was denied and a death order issued to erase all traces. He survived—barely—thanks to the intervention of S.W.A.R.M., who had been monitoring his career for years as a candidate for S.W.A.R.M recruitment.   Rather than break him, the betrayal refined him. He severed all ties to his former masters, erased his name, and pledged loyalty to the Hive—not for ideology, but because S.W.A.R.M. offered what he craved: respect, silence, and the freedom to perfect his art of killing.
Since joining, Mantis has become the architect of S.W.A.R.M.’s Close Quarters Doctrine. Every grunt trained in Hive hand-to-hand combat unknowingly walks in the shadow of his movements. He rarely speaks, almost never shows emotion, and only removes his mask for ceremonial blade rites.
  Personality:
Mantis is calm, measured, and dangerously still—like the moment before a blade drops. He speaks sparingly, usually in proverbs or single-word judgments. He believes honor is found not in survival, but in mastery. He meditates before and after every kill. He shows no joy in violence—but views every execution as a form of spiritual art.
To S.W.A.R.M.’s rank and file, he is legend. To his enemies, he is myth. To the Hive Master, he is a reminder that even unaugmented flesh can still rival gods for while he wears exo-armor and uses advanced vibro-blades Mantis refuses cybernetics or biological augmentation of all kinds.
