Agent Hemlock
Background:
"Hemlock" is not just a name—it’s a warning. Known within S.W.A.R.M. as a “living injection system,” Hemlock represents a terrifying evolution of biological warfare merged with surgical precision. He was a child of warzones—rumored to have survived a gas attack as a boy and later experimented on by rogue bioweapons divisions before being absorbed by S.W.A.R.M. during their chemical weapon research expansion in West Asia and augmented by Doctor Chrysalis.
Hemlock was augmented using synthetic insectoid DNA, biomechanical musculature, and an internal injection mechanism inspired by the proboscis of Assassin Bugs. He’s now capable of liquefying internal organs, neutralizing metas with tailored neurotoxins, or infecting tech systems through direct needle-interfaces.
Hive Command considers him too valuable—and too dangerous—to use often. When Hemlock is deployed, it’s because a target must die, and with no trace left behind
Personality:
Hemlock is quiet, precise, and ritualistic. He observes his targets like prey, taking time to study their routines, fears, and weaknesses. He often murmurs to himself in a guttural clicking dialect—possibly a some kind of operational code or residual trauma-induced speech pattern. When speaking to others, it is always in a detached, clinical tone—as if narrating a dissection.
Despite his grotesque role, he possesses an eerie kind of honor: he only kills when ordered, and never out of anger. To him, killing is a sacred biological process, not an act of violence.
