Tinsiana, the Solifugid Skitterers at the Desert's End

"Hark, attend! Let it be known that those that disrespect these least creatures, clad in the azure holy to Cecelyne, and the green of Ligier's light, have broken the pact!"

"The Pact! The Pact!"

"Those that harm these in Cecelyne's sands are bereft of her protection, even an Unquestionable, shall be open to censure by those that value Cecelyne's regard."

— Proclamation of Mohs on the Tinsiana in Cecelyne's endless waste.

One must use utmost caution when approaching such creatures, for their venom shares characteristics with many infernal poisons, from the ubiquitous, caustic vitriol to the dreadful substance only known, presumably out of spite, as The Ebon Dragon's Acerbic Wit, known to twist one's soul through brute force application of sarcasm to one's innermost values and thoughts.

Tinsiana are mostly solitary, but groups of up to twelve have been reputably confirmed. Hunting dead skin, scales or other superficial coverings of all beings Malfean in the desert, they are not considered predators but scavengers, and would be harmless for their aggressive tendencies and involvement in the worship of Cecelyne.

Many an Unquestionable seeking magical support will indeed seek to support his actions with ritual ink daubed from their venom, but only if such a being is not himself affiliated with Cecelyne, for she has declared such behaviour forbidden, anathema. Any who seek her favour who carry their scent or ichor have been known to have perished horribly.
