Cloak of Night

It was originally a joke, a childish 'tradition' established by her sisters. A black cloak given to Jupiter in honour of her keeping their secrets safe.
  It had been so long now, five thousand years? Ten? Did it matter?
  No, it did not matter, memories from family are forever, and Jupiter was as close to a parent her quintuplets acknowledged. Of course, such a sentimental possession had almost become a part of her. Indeed her power Prying Veil of Discretion. which protects her from mental influence, can be said to be centered around the cloak. As part of the panoply of secrets, the cloak is indestructible, arguably composed of the laws of the cosmos more than any mundane material. How the nascent maidens managed to create anything from these materials before they were found is unknown. Sages surmise whoever created the maiden gifted the material to them before they were found.
  I kept it, it was a symbol of how I had protected them, guiding them with wisdom and discernment, when we were so vulnerable and yet, so lonely.
