A place where people aren't supposed to go: The Mouth of Oblivion
The Black Nadir Concordat broke through the Mount of the Void, the Mouth of Oblivion, in the high First Age, after sorcery was discovered, seeking to gain a new tool, following signs and portents obscure to most, even possibly to them. The three Solars, one a Thaumathurgic engineer of surpassing intuition, one a Sorcerer of unimaginable forceful presence, and an exquisite Diplomat of the Eclipse caste, labored hard and risked much, exploring places where mortals, which they still were, if only technically, not meant to go. With them, a Waxing Moon Lunar and a Waning Moon Lunar, the former represented the changeability of the moon, and its inherent moderation, while the latter was an interested party, bribing and blackmailing its way into joining them into this 'errand for fools'. Visiting five tombs or more properly, cairns, that is, caves in the underworld, deep in the shadows where no light dares venture. In each, wrapped around it like funeral shrouds, were the ruins of its own greatness, the most likely five Neverborn to have been so visited are:Hunanura, the Heart-Frost Unending Ta'akozoka, The Great Tentacled One Tonvasharr Whose Whispers Chain Ramethus, The Wyvern Between Now and Forever
There is considerable discussion as to whether or not that is the correct number of Neverborn to even allow Necromancy, as the Underworld is known to have the following elements:
Disputes arise, and many a learned sage has posited equations for the nature of magic necessary for Necromancy to be supported through five Neverborn with six elements as opposed to six of both, and five of both. The 5/5 equation is apparently the most stable, but arguments still rage.
