Stelsor launches straight into talking about the letter we got from Wisdom’s Shining Promise about Kallias acting strange.
WSP is shocked we would play this so brazenly.
Kallias said he didn't know what we were talking about.
Fortifier detects that Karal Kallias feels that the Menhir Raised in Doleful Silence is shady and just kind of paying lip service to his position. Minor intimacy (professional disdain).
Fortifier diagnoses that the channels that the Lover had used to affect Karal Kallias before seem to be rebuilding.
Wisdom's Shining Promise pulls Fortifier aside while Stelsor keeps Kallias busy.
Mentions that Karal is the one slow-walking Metagalapa’s admittance to the Confederacy of Rivers.
Fortifier asks if he has any specific objections and WSP says nothing official. Lookshy has the authority to refuse, but he’s just slowing it.
Kalias is helping funnel metal to Lookshyan expats in Nexus.
Possibly making deals with the Guild?
Fortifier asks WSP to have Kalias come meet with them for a follow-up doctor visit tomorrow morning. If he seems to suspect anything, WSP suggests she schedule herself half an hour after Kalias.
Stelsor looks around for what Guild people are present.

Norma Jean is interested in meeting with Just Distribution for a moment. Fortifier and Stelsor kind of watch the door while trying to seem like we’re not listening.
Norma Jean says that Just Distribution looks well despite being so far from home. This confuses Just Distribution since she doesn’t understand why travel would make her unwell.
Just Distribution recognizes that Norma Jean’s jade mask is an ancient one.
Norma Jean seems to be trying to feel out if there could be a flesh trade in Autochthonia and Just Distribution points out that money is rather odd in Autochthonia.
Still, we can recall that some of the glotbosses in Claslat had entourages of beautiful people, perhaps this trade is somewhat happening already.
When Norma Jean puts her glass of wine down, Stelsor notices the glass has Burning Feather’s mark on it.
Stelsor talks to the ambassador from Gem
The ambassador mentions having hired a sorcerer to help him trade goods.
Stelsor asks if there’s any news about his family. The ambassador doesn’t know anything specific.
Scene: Trip back from the party
On the ride back to 12 Carnelian Peaches, Stelsor talks with Just Distribution about trading for lightning gems and
As we travel near Liveeasy, we see Velim Garak crossing the street as we go.
Stelsor calls to him, but Garak tries his best to ignore him and seem unsuspicious.
Stelsor tells everyone else to continue on, jumps off the cart, and slips into the shadows to follow Garak.
Just Distribution asks Fortifier if Stelsor does this often. “Not often, but to great effect.”
Once Garak moves out of plain view, he scolds Stelsor, still hidden, for drawing so much attention. Garak fears this could’ve ruined everything, but figures there’s no sense hiding this from Stelsor anymore.
Stelsor follows Garak to a room that is emphatically magenta.
A little girl of about 5 comes out with blonde, curly hair.
The girl identifies herself as Marilyn and asks Stelsor, “Do you know my mommy?”
Stelsor guesses this is Norma Jean’s child.
Norma Jean walks in -- no longer very surprised by Stelsor.
Norma Jean and Stelsor read a story and put the child to sleep.
Stelsor prepares a quick snack for Norma Jean and Garak.
Norma Jean is actually rather relieved that Stelsor knows this secret.
Stelsor offers to help her and Norma Jean admits that if we could hide her for a few days, that would be better.
Stelsor meets back up with the circle carrying a sleeping child and explains Norma Jean asked we keep this child secret and safe.
Scene: Late at 12 Carnelian Peaches
We briefly discuss how best to hide Marilyn, as not even visitors or serving staff should know she’s here.
Stelsor has a scrying-proof space off his room that we put her in for now.
