General Summary

Scene: Strike team aboard the Shrike

Stelsor and Dreamflower lead their team through the ship so well that they manage to reach the bridge undetected by the forces aboard.

They’re surprised to find the mighty artifact doesn’t seem to have a pilot, or at least not one present.

Dreamflower draws on all her knowledge of First Age artifacts and that of her past lives to discern that the airship is being flown through some kind of remote connection.

Stelsor sends an Infallible Messenger to let Fortifier know where they are on the ship.

Scene: Harmegis > Palace

Fortifier relays the message to Runel and proposes that the quickest way for him to join his circle on the Shrike is to have a colossus throw him aboard.

Runel approves the crazy plan but reasons that it would likely require two of the colossi.

Fortifier prepares by weaving Unbreakable Bones of Stone as he tucks into a ball.

They part the energy shield briefly as the two colossi ally-oop him like a human cannon ball.

The flung Fortifier is hurt breaking through the Shrike’s essence shield and crash-landing into the Magical Materials that make up the hull.

Fortifier lands loudly somewhere on level 4.

Scene: Strike Team on the bridge

They open the door and combat begins.

Varakleion is there.

Sends his elemental lackeys in to bolster the undead.

He starts making motions that look suspiciously like Focusing Will.

Stelsor transforms into his Devil-body Incarnation.

Varakleion releases the magma kraken upon the group of mortal sorcerors.

When Fortifier arrives, Varakleion redirects the magma kraken to grasp for Fortifier and snatches him up.

Varakleion begins moving to escape.

Stelsor attacks from the shadows.

Dreamflower dispels the magma kraken and summons an oil elemental.

Fortifier places an ovoid field of lightning in Varakleion's path.
