General Summary
Scene: at 12 Carnelian Peaches after the City Council meeting
We discuss what to do next.
Stelsor and Dreamflower want to do something Director Fruza, Guild Import Director of Nexus and his Underworld Artifact.
Fortifier needs to develop a Black Sunshine alternative.
Stelsor suggest we locate the manufacturing of this alternative in Thorns since it would have access to a shadowland for ingredients. Mask of Winters might not interfere since hurting Black Sunshine hurts his enemies.
Fortifier organizes the Circle’s efforts in formulating a Black Sunshine treatment. We name it Sublime Twilight. (It’s a little like fantasy methadone.)
The main product was the formula.
We now have enough doses to cure 2-3 people.
We consider getting Burning Feather, Lady of Intoxicants to bless the Sublime Twilight. She had some misgivings about Black Sunshine and might be willing to help smooth the way for the treatment.
Now to find patient to try the cure on.
Stelsor gets in touch with Navarone Zahre and Narel Pritaire to check in and see if they know anyone addicted.
Stelsor has been wandering the dreams of his employees to help catch and troubleshoot issues that spoil their sleep.
This is how we get the lead that Vorasha Grimdal is estranged from her mother
Scene: Olive Oyl’s Home
We knock on the door of her brownstone and are met by a woman with hair is half blond, half red. Deeply tanned skin.
Fortitier tries to use her Vorasha’s concern to get to the Olive to come clean about her Black Sunshine problem, but she deflects and denies until Stelsor cuts through her bs.
She has a major virtue of Courage and we instill a minor tie of Sublime Twilight treatment (Committed).
Stelsor promises to put Olive up in luxury while she is undergoing treatment.
We consider having the Autochthon cult take care of her at Nightnail, but settle on conducting the treatment at 12 Carnelian Peaches because of her importance to Vorasha and she is closer to our lab if she has any side effects.
While interacting, we recognize that she is an Earth Aspected Dragon-blooded.
Dreamflower receives a heavily perfumed letter, written on the fine vellum from Heaven.
It is from Titiana Botticelli, chosen of Serenity, thanking Dreamflower for the party and reminding her about Titiana’s art gallery.
While setting her up for treatment, Fortifier inspects her for any other issues (Flawless Diagnosis Technique) and senses an emotional harm (Injury-Scanning Touch) in Olive and offers to speak about it.
Olive mentions that one of her daughters has been separated from her after being adopted by Combative Mattresses.
Fortifier tries to help her feel better by knowing her daughters are alive and relatively safe. He also offers to look for anyone else she might want us to try to help.
At this time, we set up a schedule of taking the Sublime Twilight at sundown for about 4 weeks.
As she looks at the Sublime Twilight, she admires that it is dark like Black Sunshine but has purple streaks in it as well. Fortifier blankly explains he didn’t attempt to make it aesthetically pleasing but accepts the compliment.
While speaking Filandro Ghosts through a wall before realizing the room wasn’t as empty as he expected. Fortifier warns Olive that many of the other residents here are unusual, but aren’t going to harm her.
Dreamflower composes a text that can be distributed at our water stalls that will promote positive intimacies toward literacy and learning.
Some of the newly recruited God-blooded are somewhat literate in Flametongue (from Prasad) but not really at all in the script of Riverspeak (the main language in Nexus).
With Harmonious Academic Methodology, Dreamflower trains some of them to be teachers.
By the end, this text is basically a lesser wonder.
Vorasha came by and Stelsor let her know about her mother. He doesn’t want her to worry if her mom isn’t home.
Vorasha mentions that some of the Prasadi recruits are working out well in the River District Watch. The a stone-skinned man is doing well. There’s also a girl who glows in the dark and so is hard to bunk with. Stelsor explains that these people are God-blooded.
Scene: Nexus > Titiana’s Gallery
Dreamflower takes Stelsor and Fortifier along for a visit to the gallery.
Titiana is excited to see us and ask also about Chalai.
Dreamflower tries to call upon Chalai, but the connection is broken off abruptly.
Fortifier recognizes some pieces of "Solid" Eressanada Purrio’s work.
One is a sculpture of Cinshan. Another is a javelin with a spearhead in the shape of an alchemical’s head.
Titiana mentions they are impressive but have been kind of hard to sell even in such a cosmopolitan art market as Nexus.
In the same area, there is a large piece covered in a cloth.
Titiana mentions that piece isn’t for sale; it is a gift she is holding "for 'my brother, Fortifier of Hearts & Bones.' Oh, that’s you!"
As she unveils this, we see a 3ft by 4ft painting that depicts so many of the Exalts we have met and capturing moments of our adventures.
It is said to be by Eresenada but not from him; it was commissioned by Merchant Lady Cunégonde.
Fortifier suggests perhaps making the painting part of the decor in Stelsor’s amusement park/inn.
One painting is of Titiana herself, seemingly made by her husband.
Stelsor is looking for someone to perhaps make murals or mosaics for the amusement park and finds a large piece recognizably depicting Reyana-she-heralds-the-dawn at the party.
When we ask who made this, Titiana admits she wasn’t able to find out.
She mentions she bought it 2 days ago, though the 20-foot piece depicts and event that only occurred 2 days ago.
It should have taken days to make this. Either this artist worked extremely quickly, or they worked at a normal pace to depict a foreseen event.
Dreamflower studies the piece with charms

We purchase the piece.
Scene: Nexus > Firewander District
To find another test patient for Sublime Twilight, we go to Firewander.
Near the water manse, we notice a militia person who seems to want to say something.
He mentions that the local innkeeper has become withdrawn and tired. She lost a child a while back (3 months ago), but had seemed to be recovering until recently.
We visit the inn and find it in very bad shape. The innkeeper, Irssa Sunduin, is dressed in black, possibly in mourning.
Once we get her to acknowledge using Black Sunshine, we are able to reassure her that we can help her.
At first, she worries about her inn while she is gone for 4 weeks, but we noticed her food is stale and she admits she currently has no boarders.
She tearfully accepts the help.
We arrange for some folks, either from some Autochthon Lives people or some of our other followers.
When we get back to 12 Carnelian Peaches, Dreamflower notices the tea in the house has been lacking without Chalai.
Dreamflower recalls Chalai hanging up earlier. At the time, she saw Chalai in Yu-Shan meeting with someone wearing an orange sash.
