Yet, for all his cunning, he is not without a cause. Dorian steals not for greed, but to tip the scales, to remind the mighty that their wealth and thrones are not immutable. The world's true order is not carved in stone, but written in the shifting ink of opportunity.
Now, that philosophy brings him to the South Seas, where a new kind of tyrant amasses power. Valfalk, a dragon whose hoard is not merely gold but the very essence of legend, threatens to tip the balance beyond repair. The king's plea for aid is an opportunity, both to topple a beast who mistakes brute force for control and to claim something greater—artifacts of myth, the Virtuous Strands, capable of shaping fate itself.
