Undeath

It is not truly known why Amrah created Undeath, or if it was even her that did it, but it is generally believed that Amrah was jealous of Namma's creation of the Elfathri, a race which can live eternally, and such created a sickness which stripped the gift of life, though denied the embrace of death.

Transmission & Vectors

Passed through exchange of bodily fluids. Examples include introduction of infected saliva or blood into open wounds, ingestion of waters infected with Undeath, or sexual relations with an Undead person.

Symptoms

There are many forms of Undeath, each affected differently by the disease. Shamblers are the most common form, believed to be mindless and driven by a soul purpose: feasting on the flesh of the living. Bloodsuckers, sometimes called Vampires, are harder to spot, but can be just as dangerous. Bloodsuckers retain their logic and reasoning, though find themselves unable to eat the food of the living and require the blood of the Father and Younger races to maintain their strength. There are many other lesser forms of Undeath, many first discovered during the Necro War.

Treatment

There is no guaranteed treatment. Some people bit by shamblers (also known as corpse walkers) on their limbs have been known to survive following the immediate amputation of the afflicted limb.

Prognosis

Infection is fatal, though once killed it is believed passage to the After is denied, and your soul is returned to your corpse, with many differing results.
