Sealing and Cutting Doors/Hulls

How long it takes to cut a hull or door (using a fusion cutter or plasma torch) open depends on its class. There’s no skill involved when cutting a door, but a person skilled in Repairs can do it faster. Each success on a Quickness + Repairs roll decreases the time it takes. The hole cut open is enough for a grown man in full armor to pass through. Use your reason when cutting smaller holes. When a door is completely sealed, it’s counted as a solid wall. If not properly sealed, it can be busted down as a door, but still requires more successes, as it is much sturdier than an unsealed door.
Sealing doors takes twice as long, but has a reduction time of 20 seconds.
Door Class - Base time - Minimum Time - Reduction Time
Thin metal door. - 1 min - 20 seconds - 10 sec
Standard metal door in a ship or colony. - 2 min - 40 seconds - 10 sec
*Bulkhead/Airlock - 2 min - 1 min - 10 sec
A/B-Class ship outer/inner hull. - 4 min - 2 min - 10 sec
*C-Class ship outer hull 5 min - 3 min - 15 sec
*D/E-Class ship outer hull 8 min - 2 min - 15 sec
*Requires a plasma torch instead of a fusion cutter.
