Research

When researching a subject to learn new information using books, databases and other resources, the player makes a Brains + appropriate Ability roll for his avatar. If he is researching the history of Infinitology, the Ability Void Lore would be appropriate. If he wants to learn more about how the coreanium processing works, he would need to make a Brains + Science roll. The standard research roll (with access to the right sources of information) takes between 30 minutes to 3 hours.
  If the task is measured in minutes, the reduction time is five minutes, and if measuring in hours, the reduction time is twenty minutes.
