Primus (Pry-muss)
The Shining One
Primus, deity of the sun, the shining one, has appeared before mankind as a mighty being in gleaming, golden plate mail armor. His true face cannot be seen as it is hidden by the brilliance of the sun-like shining aura that radiates a blinding light where his head should be. Primus is the creator of many good things, a supporter of those in need, and an adversary of all that is evil. He is one of the Four Pillars of Creation, father of many of the other gods, and is considered to be the patriarch of The Twelve. Primus is also credited with the creation of the humans.
Primus makes his home on the sun, Helios. There he lives with his beloved, Prospera.Primus’s clerics favor white garb with golden trim. They are usually kindly people with backbones of steel. They are primarily nurturers and protectors, but when the time comes to bear arms they are not afraid to do so. They use their powers to heal, nourish, and otherwise aid the needy, while practicing the skills needed to protect their charges should they be threatened. Many clerics of Primus leave their pastoral duties and go to explore far lands in an effort to drive off harmful beings and spread their deity’s gifts to all who need them.
