Tsuchigumo

A species of spider-monsters, lead by a queen.

The Queen-Mother

All Tsuchigumo are born from one mother. It is unknown what will happen when she dies. Maybe the species will go extinct, maybe a knew Queen will be selected or born. No one has ever slain a Tsuchigumo queen.

The Brood

All Tsuchigumo seem to be connected telepathically. They move as one and all have the same objective, they are not however a hivemind. Each individual is just that, an individual. They simply possess extraordinary cooperation and communication.

The Brood is not intrinsically evil or agressive. They are however multiplying rapidly which requires an ever growing amount of food. They will take over and devour whatever they can and when they are full they will continue and simply take the leaftovers home to their queen. It is theorised that if one were able to sate the hunger of all Tsuchigumo they might be rather peaceful.

Stats

Tsuchigumo possess the same stats as an Energy Spider with the following changes:

• They are not immune or vulnerable to any damage type
• They lose "Energy Absorbtion" and "Sunlight Sensitivity"
• They gain "Pack Tactics"
• They can communicate with any other Tsuchigumo, given they are both concious
• They understand Galactic Basic but cannot speak it.
