Nebi

Looking like ordinary foxes, this species of force sensitive tricksters are spread throughout the galaxy.

Appearance

Small, fuzzy quadripeds with orange fur and black paws. The only thing distinguishing them from normal foxes is the glint of mischief in their eyes and, sometimes, the multiple tails.

Culture

They love playing pranks and meeting new people. Nebi keep their promises but this doesnt keep them from deceiving their targets with clever wordplay and diversions. Nebi prefer the compnay of other races over that of fellow Nebi since they are less likely to fall for their tricks, being tricksters themselves.

They pride themselves on the tricks they pull and the trinkets they steal. Though mostly harmless, if angered they use their psychic powers to deceive and confuse, potentially causing much bigger problems.

Nebi can and will sometimes walk on two legs but often prefer to use all four, since they have increased stability and more speed this way.

Most of their kind find clothes to be unnecessary and only wear things with practical uses, like backpacks and pouches or occasionaly shoes to protect from hazards on the ground. Jewelry however is widely loved. All manner of earrings, armbands and spangles are worn. More lightfurred Nebi might even dye their fur different colors.

Undersized: Your small stature makes it hard for you to wield bigger weapons. You can’t use heavy shields. Additionally, you can’t use martial weapons with the two-handed property unless it also has the light property, and if a martial weapon has the versatile property, you can only wield it in two hands.

Psychic Talent: You know "Affect Mind", at 3rd level you learn "Dun Moch" and at 5th "Coerce Mind".

Mask of the Wild: You can hide while lightly obscured as long as you are in a natural enviroment.

Trickster: You have proficiency in Deception

Multitail: If you are a force caster, everytime you gain access to a new level of force power, you grow another tail up to a maximum of seven tails. For every two tail you have the DC to resist any mindaffecting force powers cast by you rises by 1.
