Kawako

An aquatic race, indiginous to the planet Kappa Prime.

Appearance

Kawako possess scaled skin in tones of blue or green. They have sharp beaks, webbed digits and no hair. The top of their head is flat or even concave. The scales on their back are harder than those on any other body part, almost resembling a shell.

Culture

Kawako are a fierce people. They are viscious fighters and enjoy the taste of still-warm flesh. Since one of their favorite past times is fighting eachother, they have become very skilled in medicine. Their etiquette is very different from all other races, causing them to appear rude.

Having evolved on a water planet, Kawako are extremely skilled swimmers and adept at fighting in or underwater. Their preferred method of defeating terestrial opponents is to drown them.

Canibalistic: Your bite deals 1d6 damage. When biting a sentient creature you may heal 1d4 hp.

Aquatic Combatant: You suffer no disadvantages when fighting underwater.

Drowner: You have advantage on strength checks to grapple.

Moisture Dependent: To prevent the delicate scales on your face from drying out, you must cover your head in water at least once every 24 hours and your entire body at least every five days for an hour.
