Life in Edgevein is, for the most part, calm. Corn and wheat fields surround the village on on the east side if the river. The river goes through the village, dividing it near the middle. On the west siden, there are fewer houses. The houses there are surrounded by green grass fields full of flowers, sheep and a few cows.
Beyond the cornfields, a deep forest can be seen in the distance.
The town itself is small, but cozy. Smoke rises from pipes, laundry hangs from windows and people walk around doing chores or going to and from work. In the town center is a plaza, with shops, market booths, the town hall and a tavern around it. In the middle of the plaza a statue of the founder stands tall.
