The Cobalt Oasis
A Triton settlement that has been mistaken as an oasis by sailors throughout history. Although the town is a safe spot to fuel up and rest, from a distance it appears to be masqued or skinned with an enchanting blue light and otherworldly fauna that often lures the curious to its shores. The island is very small, but the Triton have also settles cities nearby underwater where they anchor themselves and their land settlement -- they appear more vulnerable by appearing in lower numbers when in reality their strength lies in their reinforcements beneath the depths.
History
Since Triton are such great swimmers, they have used the island to assist with their underwater network to patrol and monitor the fishing in The Oyster Chain. There have been stories of attacks throughout history when the waters are overfished, that swift ambush plague the ships responsible for the overfishing, as though they are being watched. The Triton have never actually confirmed this.
