Holy state of Dakaros
Nestled in the Spine of the Titans mountain range, the Holy state of Dakaros is land claimed by the Reformed Church of Life. Made up of about half a dozen monk monasteries this state borders the Giya Dynasty. Unlike most countries the Holy state of Dakaros has no hierarchy or government, rather being loosely run by the older monks of the church. With no one officially in charge, the Giya Dynasty does enforce it's law within the Holy state of Dakaros and considers it a vassal state, but without an official government, no official treaty has ever been signed.
The population of the Holy state of Dakaros is quite small, as only a very few monks live here full time. Most of the monks are seeking enlightenment and practice a more namadic lifestyle in their search. However many people from all around the world come here looking for help on their journey to enlightenment. Some of the permanent monks can tell stories of dragons, demons and other unlikely folk coming and looking for help. There's even stories of an Awakened Owlbear or two making their way through their monasteries.
