The Shattered Isles Finding the Man Behind the Mask
The world of the Shattered Realms was once a happy and unified place until the gods struck war with one another. For years they fought and ravished the land until they looked back and saw the error they had committed. Upon realizing what they had done they decided to take their combat to a different plane leaving the world godless for centuries. All the living who remained divided themselves into The Naturals and unnaturals. The Naturals believed that they should keep the world in a balance with nature and should avoid major technological advancements, even medicine. The Unnaturals believed in the opposite, to advance the world and technology was the only goal, no matter the costs, no matter the risks. A war between them was inevitable and when it struck The Unnaturals won with their superior technology. Currently all citizens of the government must wear tracking chips (excluding the party unless they want) and both sides are escalating in conflict once again and the players must choose who to side with and rally up forces with the allies they make.
