Gem Dragon

Gem dragons are a type of Dragon with crystalline scales. They tended to be aloof, solitary, and self-centered. However, much of this change when Sardior died, releasing gem dragons from their influence. Now, gem dragons have less powerful tendencies, and vary more than their Chromatic and Metallic cousins.   Unlike other types of dragons, gem dragons had great psionic power. This allowed them to frequently be telepathic, and gave them easier access to the ability of "dragonsight" more often than other dragon types.   Gem dragons tend to be more interested in other planes than other types of dragons, rather than its inhabitants like metallic dragons. Some like history, others protect from extra planar threats, but most have some sort of interest of this type.
