Setting

The session took the players through Mara's Inn, Old Tom's Hut, The Playground, and into a Cave located at the edge of The Lost Forest.
 

Key Events

Aoife's Self-Defense Incident: Aoife killed a Church Enforcer in self-defense at Mara's Inn.
Glorb's Interrogation: Glorb strangled another Church Enforcer, tied him to a chair, and allowed Aoife to question him.
Dingle's Search: Dingle searched the captive before he was tied up and left in Mara's care. The captive is now held in Mara's beer cellar, and Mara has disposed of the other body.
 

Discoveries

The leader of the church is a tiefling named Father Gideon.

An old woman is known to lead children into the forest, giving them chocolate and taking them to a "fun land."

Old Tom's notes depict a young woman and contain questions about why he is no longer "special" and why the woman "hates him" now.

The players found many statues of humans leading up to a cave where a beast lurks.

Dingle observed that the church enforcers carry daggers.

Aoife identified the fungal spores on a torn teddy bear as likely being psychedelic.

The players learned that fat kids hinted a woman would get angry if the secret comes out.

A crumpled note with instructions to "get rid" of the players and a diagram of a building interior were found on the dead church enforcer.
