The Malfa Houses

The nine founding Houses of Malfa, with their badges (if I've thought of them), are:

Alltafri - yellow topaz
Erling - amethyst
Grimmvatten - fire agate
Hejmar - garnet
Hrummsetten
Leidh - turquoise
Sjolfri - peridot
Veithur - serpentine
Valdas (not dead but sleeping) - onyx

Other Maveren

In general, the Maveren are a loose-knit society of which those in Malfa are only part. There are other Maveren households who have some presence in Malfa; they’re citizens of the city, but don’t have any purview. Conversely, most of the founding households have members overseas who rarely or never come to Malfa. There’s some competition/mutual disdain between those Maveren who haven’t settled down in the town, and those who have.
