Palace of The Sun

The Palace is meant to be the center of rulership over the city of Akbar, high above the rest of it, as it displays its majesty as a symbol of divinity and power to all who rule from its throne.

The design was made by the most excellent craftsmen and masons that Paranthian culture could ever offer, placing various art patterns and towering domed roofs that catch the light to give off a glow. The most eye-catching part of it is the massive ring of colored glass that only shines when the sun rises, to give off a radiant display of colors that cover the city from down below.

  The Palace of the Sun has a long history dating back to the time of the Sun Sultan, who constructed it to be his seat of power over the vast Paranth Sultanate. It was through his designs that it would stand as one of the most magnificent buildings within the Eastern Lands, standing the test of time after many centuries, long after the fall of the Sultinate, it would still be seen as a seat of power overall that witnesses its splendor may they be a resident of the city or simply visiting. It is one of the main reasons that every ruler chooses to live within its walls when ruling over the city, as no other place would suffice in such majesty. For even as the sun rises over its peak, it shines over it with a glow that radiates across it as if it were a part of the sun itself. Making one of the most sacred places in the city, which no one has ever dared to damage, even as new regimes have taken over and conquering armies sacked the city, no one dared to destroy the legacy it has left behind.
