Seamet
The Strongheart Halflings of this village used to live on the southwestern plains. They worked the grasslands, and the animals that roamed them for many years. A gang of Gnolls invaded the lands, and sent the Halflings running. Having loved Howe Sound for the storms, dragons, and adventure to still be had. The Halflings moved to Gambier Island and started fishing the Salish Sea. The village is small, due to the lost Halflings in the Gnoll attacks. Despite all odds these small folk have persevered, and even thrived. Many rivalling groups have stayed away from this island due to rumours of a monster that lies in deep in the sea. The Halflings have accepted this as a part of their daily lives, and offer regular sacrifices to the sea. This is done partly to address to rumours and partly to aid the regular ecosystem of the sea.
The town consists of a few homes, a pub, a grain refinery, and a church. This small town does not need much to sustain itself. Each home grows its own vegetables, and livestock. They are a small community who keeps to themselves. The occupants of this small town are suspicious of outsiders which further isolates the town from the world.
Upon entering the town, folks are taken by the quietness of it all. The town is very small and occupants often stowed away inside their comfortable lodgings. Some might even wonder how a town like this survives with so few towns people about, and so little movement in the streets. The houses are all very small. Doors, windows, paths, and gardens are all sized appropriately to fit their dwellers.
