Arkimedes Company

The Arkimedes Company was formed from the conglomeration of Dieces-H, Kano Group, Medea Imports, and Lothar Arms Manufacturing. Since their merger as one large organization they have sold almost every kind of Utility, Weapon and Resource necessary for the common field worker on planets. On top of this expansion, they have a Starbase or Infohub on every planet with a stable colony. The origins of each organization that joined to form this commercial juggernaut are as follows;   Deices-H became a major Robotics Facility and is largely credited for the headway into upgraded mechanical infantry. Their efforts brought forth from revolutionary technological breakthroughs resulted in early concepts of planetary/interstellar mechs and defense systems for when eventually they became commonplace. When the Solar Wars were sparked they announced their research to be public and neutral in grounding. Their hand was forced to make this decision as they feared becoming a main target for being associated with the Northern Suns Federation.   The Kano Group was originally based in the Hawken City-States as a pseudo group of vigilantes fighting against threats of a super-human proportion using what technology and wit they had access to at the time. Their name wasn’t known at all until the emergence of the three great empires in which the main leaders of the team split up in a disagreement between their stance of aligning with the new Empire or becoming outlanders.   Medea Imports is a Maileean based supermarket and retail corporation that have stores far and wide, reaching out to even Kaisihi with their presence as a seller of all goods that represent Mailee culture. Vending machines with their name on it were common. When the I'lix Coalition formed their grasp on everyday products on the south-west side of the globe became that much firmer. They no longer sold commonality for just everyday citizens, but also raw resources, functioning heavy machinery for construction, mining, and the like.   Lothar Arms Manufacturing is, as the name implies, an Arms Dealer. Originally a Sarandian based organization. When the Solar Wars broke out they played all sides of the battlefield to the jeer and scowl of their government that demanded they remained limited in their productions to Yedian Union soil. As sanctions began being placed the organization moved its factories and efforts to other places that would have them. Temporarily splitting into three different companies, placed in each Empire. As the war raged on they only profited more and more, eventually the lack of resources caught up and the equipment they sold had to adapt. They began selling Mining Tools, Alchemical machinery, life support systems for sub-nautical travel.   However that is only what the common folk know. Underneath the Veil, it was inevitable all along that this “conglomerate” would be formed. Pieces of the puzzle fell into the place from over and underground dealings. Each organization had met the exact requirements and objectives Arkimedes had laid out for them. The Solar Wars only pushed the formation along, as it seemed only common sense that the groups came together to become something ‘greater’. With commercial success placed as a front, the Arkimedes Company is an artifact and rare resource trader. Selling fossils, ancient history, endangered animal carcasses, aliens, and the like illegally and “legally”.
