The spatter of fat, cold raindrops supplies a white noise that mitigates the sounds of urban life.Though the window, trees are becoming barren, the last colors of autumn mostly drifted to the sidewalks and streets. Stairing at the computer screen, I pick up my coffee -- empty. Time to switch to tea.
