The Hand of the Jinn

The Hand of the Jinn (Destey Xwedayan) is a powerful spell, one capable of erasing its victim from existence across all of reality. The target is wiped out in every Dimension, with no Reflectant left behind. It is the deadliest weapon of the Gen (singular: Genie), a race of cosmic shapeshifters.

Effect

When cast, the victim is completely erased from existence, regardless of where they are or what Reflectant they are. Any evidence of their existence also disappears or is modified to exclude them.

Side/Secondary Effects

The spell also erases the target from the memories of all who have ever known them. It will be like they never were.

Manifestation

The spell is silent, striking quickly and leaving no trace of itself behind, like an engineered poison designed to be untraceable.

Source

A common Genie oral story regarding the spell and its associated Gen ("Genies" being considered grammatically incorrect by them) goes something like this:
"When Xweda was making the cosmic Pearl,   Its starry form in a milky white swirl,   He begat a bird, Anfar, great white dove,   Who carried the orb on his back with love.   Forty thousand years passed, the great Pearl hatched,   Some material was born and unlatched.   On Sunday Xweda made brave Ezrayil,   On Monday was formed haughty Dardayil,   Esrafayil the healer on Tuesday,   Mikayil the warrior on Wednesday,   Then messenger Jabrayil on Thursday,   Radiant young Shemnayil on Friday,   Finally Turayil on Saturday,   So the Seven Mysteries stood arrayed."
These "Seven Mysteries" (Heftsirr) were the first Gen to exist, and the lords of their kind. They would later make omnipotent copies of themselves, and develop all their spells. The Sirr are the only Gen who don't reproduce naturally.     Each Genie has limitless power, forming a sort of imperfect divine triad with the Cosmic Serpents and Spacitti: the Gen are all-powerful but not all-knowing or immortal, the Serpents are all-knowing but not all-powerful or immortal, and the Spacitti are immortal but not all-powerful or all-knowing.

Discovery

The Seven Mysteries, after being made by a mysterious being they call Xweda, began formulating all kinds of spells, the most potent being the Hand.     Their leader was given a title and eminence among them:
"Xweda spake unto Ezrayil the old:   'Taawoosi Melek thou shalt hence be called!'   He was given great power, great ruling,   King without crown, teacher without schooling."
These Gen were created in Dimension III. To this day all Gen come from there, dwelling hidden from human eyes while walking the Earths of different Worlds.
The Genie oral story mentions:

"The Seven landed on young infant Earth,   Men of all tongues, tribes, nations taking birth,   They made their camp at budding Mount Lalish,   Where trees were still berries, the ground was lush,   The Peacock King, grand Melek, made a map,   Using his runes to mark out human traps,   For mankind was yet young, wild, and fierce,   Scared of the Heftsirr, they called them a curse.   But the Seven had pity on the fools,   Seeing humans as filled with potential,   They made contact and their words did not fail,   Many names were they called in mortal tale."
Eventually they come across other divine entities:
"They soon found strange new beasts, friends and servants,   Among them Shaahmaaraan, Queen of Serpents.   With a large adder's body and six legs,   And a woman's face, each foot a snake's head,   A seventh asp's head at her broad tail's tip,   Looking monstrous, but with grace on her lips.   She teaches them of herbs and medicine,   How to ward off illness, and stay from sin."
Shaahmaaraan gave them insights into earthly magic, when formerly they had only known the celestial kind.     Their gifts of magic earned them worship by early humans. Statues of them exist across planet Earth in Dimension III:
"With antlers of stags, and heads of camels,   Eyes of rabbits, libidinous mammals,   Long snakes' necks, and armoured bellies of clams,   Covered in carp scales, with eagles' clawed hands,   Complete with tigers' palms and oxen ears,   Great dragons they are, to be loved and feared."

They must be recited in the Gen language, called Djinnic by scholars.     The Gen language has twenty-five consonants (M, P, B, F, V, N, T, D, S, Z, L, Lh, R, Rh, Ch, J, Sh, Zh, Y, K, G, X, W, Q, H) and twelve vowels: A, Aa, E, Ey (long "E" like in Hindi "seb"), I, Ee (long "I" like in "feet"), O, Oa (long "O" like in "boat"), Oe (like in German "hoeren"), U, Oo (long "U" like in "shoo") and Ue (like German "Brueder"). The consonants and vowels follow a similar pronunciation to the Kurdish languages.     Once the invocation has been chanted, the potion is ready. A seventh son of a seventh son must be the one to administer it, be it Genie or any other race.     The potion may be put in a drink or some food item, but it must be consumed. Effects are immediate.
