Territh

Territh favor the lowlands and ktholes of Urth as their domains. These ogrekin prefer having access to natural rock, soil, and unobstructed views of their lands. Territh prefer structures with as few walls as possible to separate them from the terrain. The urth folke have an affinity for the land and the geographic features of the terrain. Each tall folke of urth blood has a landmark that becomes their Axi. Each axi has a distinct trait, story or persona associated with it in the legends of the Territh which they try to emulate, cast off or ignore. When joining with an axi, the ogrekin makes their personal sigil upon the landmark signifying their bond. Changing one’s axi is not as simple as deciding to place your sign upon another axis. Territh believe that their spirit is linked to their axis, and it takes a significant act, a rumbling, to bond to a new landmark. Many urth folke believe that those who choose to turn their spirit from their axi become waifs, lost spirits, should they wander too long or far. Some believe that the axis itself can cast off the bond itself without action or inaction from the ogrekin themselves. Such an ogrekin is urthlorn. A Territh can always recognize and find their axi, even across vast distances.   Territh believe that their actions lend strength and permanence to their axi. Legends of powerful axi that have stood for ages persist throughout the tall folke tales. Damaging or defacing an axis is an act of aggression, a personal affront, a violation to ogrekin who have placed their mark upon it. Territh believe that when their time comes, that their body bonds with the urth there, creating what they call an Etraxi. There are those among the Territh that can dowse for these places, marking them for their people. More powerful members of their people can even call forth the spirits found there to gain knowledge or aid. As one might think, Territh are a people who value their past and will oft trade the old tales when they gather together or with others who will share their old tales. Traditional Territh musical instruments are percussion instruments of varying types.   As descendants of the Land Giants, these ogrekin have a tan skin tone and two horns like various rams or bovines.
