A wood with a canopy of enormous trees so dense that no light reaches the ground.
Anima and the Environment
The Gloaming would have dangerously high in levels of radiation but the foliage, particularly the canopy trees, have adapted to absorb the abundant raw magic leaving the region at a standard level of radiation. Still despite the high levels of anima there have been no significant gem deposit found under or around the woods.Fauna & Flora
In a perpetual night the flora and fauna have adapted to existing in near pitch blackness. Some plants have a bioluminescent quality which mimic a day/night cycle.
