The Realm of Verdanys

Along time ago, there was only void. Then came the gods, who were bored with their existence, decided to tame the chaos and fill the void with life. Corellon Larethian, driven by beauty, created the most majestic of races, the First Elves. Annam the Sky Father, driven by hierarchy, created the largest of beings amongst all other called The Giants. Moradin, who values forge power, created the ancient dwarves. Garl Glittergold, who put worldly vanity above all else created the ancient Gnomes who appeared to be the most cheerful and playful of all races. Yondalla who prefers solitude and isolation from the other gods, created the first Halflings who yearns to live peacefully in solitude. Lastly, Oghma who was obsessed with knowledge and experimentation, took the ape species who were created by another god, did some experimentation on them and created the weirdest of all races, Humans. The other gods created different kinds of lifeforms on the planet and fill the world with life.   The First Cosmic War. The gods are petty beings. During their first days of creation, they already taught each of their respective creation to regard them as the most superior being compared to all others. The only reason they created life is for them to become their entertainment. Even on their first days, conflicts and fighting amongst races were not an extraordinary occurence. But one day, another being came and saw a world teeming with life and decided to conquer it. They are the Primordials. Not willing to surrender their world to outsiders, the gods decided to round the races and band together with them to repel the Primordial invaders. The gods decided to share a fraction of their powers with mortals in the form of arcane and divine magic. Not only that, the gods created the first primordial dragon called Asgorath and imbued it with powerful elemental attacks as one of their Divine Arsenals against the Primordials.   The Second Cosmic War. The battle between the gods and the primordial forces had lasted for centuries up to this point, with no clear winner in sight. Unbeknownst to them, their constant fighting sent a disturbance across the realm and signaled the first residents of this realm of their existence, the Infernals led by several archdevils (Glasya, Dispater, Baalzebul, Levistus, Fierna, Mammon, Mephistopheles and Asmodeus as the supreme leader). Before the first war could reach its conclusion, the Infernals entered the scene the third force in this grand cosmic battle. Seeing what the gods had created, The Infernals also desired to take control but they don't play fair. Instead of fighting a traditional battle, they schemed and constantly changed allegiances, infiltrating and supporting both sides in order to weaken them from the inside.
