White Stream of the K'Thoni River

The White Stream of the K'Thoni River and its distributaries create the largest continuous waterway east of the capital. It is so called because of the Whiteroot forest, although the river itself does not run through the forest anymore, the trees having been cut back to make room for villages and farmland. Not very long ago, a landslide on the banks of the Hidden Lake caused water to drain into the closest distributary of the river, forming a connection between the river and the lake. This river is the main water source for the City of Aleri and all its surrounding villages, as well as a thoroughfare between the city of Alexandelios and royals therein and the City of Aleri, the Aleri family, and the port of Nipha, the royal harbour within the city. Somewhere before the water splits, there is said to be a golem protecting the City of Aleri from invasions. No one knows for sure as the City of Aleri is the newest city in the kingdom, having only been built in the last 500 years and having never been threatened by an invading force.
