Session 5

The group left the scribbling squire to continue to the winking weasel tavern and report back to Gungir. After handing over the moon amulet and book, Gungir took them and left, letting a group of assassins to dispose of the loose ends. After the party defeated them, Slick and Slim came rushing down. Slick explained they were to originally supposed to dispatch of them, but he wanted to let them leave and call it even. After leaving the tavern, our group took their cart and dashed down the streets of the city. After a long chase the group ditched the cart in an alley and found somewhere to finally rest. When they awoke, the city guard had found them and proceeded to imprison them. After days in a prison, a Councillor Gavos came to bring them to a courtroom, where The Judge sentenced them to death. In the middle of the execution, the knight leading it was interupted and extended the chance to forfeit their lives and spend their days at The Vigil to repent. They all hopped at the opportunity of survival and accepted the offer.
