Halfling

What was once a hearty and well-lived race, has now become a sad tale. The halflings lived all across Extria in villages and communities completely devoid of conflict. Being hard workers, they were always ready to share food and water with anyone, even the people who tried to rob them. Being completely void of war allowed them to be left alone by great nations, but left them prime targets for the Wraiths in the Age of Shadows. All the halfling settlements were raised within a few years, and nearly as many halflings were slaughtered and added to the army of the damned. Now, while rare, you can find halflings integrated into almost any major settlement. The country of Zavia actually hosts the majority of halflings as their expansion quickly absorbed many halfling villages, where they could get actual protection.
