Home of the Tieflings, but supports any race who wants to study the arcane arts
Suspected to be the aftermath of however the Tieflings arrived to this plane from the Hells, a large crater filled with a purple substance referred to as “Ash” causes gravitational anomalies all over the country.
The Wizards here have used the Ash to achieve the marvel of flight, with airships and many other ingenious creations
Sadly, the effects of Ash weaken the further away it gets from The Crater, meaning flight is only a luxury in this corner of the world.
Because of this incredible anomaly, magic users and scholars alike have flocked to The Crater for centuries, forming a great city known only as The Crater.
Many colleges of magic have formed here and it is said that a spellcaster cannot be an expert without visiting the city at least once in their life.
The city is ruled by the Grand Enchanter, and the land is guarded by eldritch knights.
Geography
Aranthia is a costal land with lush plains. A large crater is the biggest geographical feature here, where the Tieflings have made their home.
Ecosystem
What was once a simple ecosystem, now is changed by the magical forces affecting the land. Many creatures have devleoped flight, and many plants now grow on the floating islands.
