Age of Severance
The second age, where Contilus introduced sentient beings to the world. The complexity of this new morality split the aspects into the benevolent and malevolent we know today. The Aspects of Caelus began following their primal urges to begin shaping the planes as we know them. They took to creation and began learning what they could do with their given life. After years of learning and making, Contilus had a plan. He summoned the other Aspects and showed them the most complex thing they had thought of yet: a sentient being. They all enjoyed the idea of agents of their will to further expand their reach and all bestowed their longings into these beings. The Aspects began spreading these new creatures around the planes they had forged at once. But eventually the machinations of these beings began affecting the Aspects themselves. The collective thoughts of these beings confused the Aspects, as what was Motivus to do when two beings want to claim the same land? What is Gula to do when their is not enough food to share? These ideas eventually sundered every aspect into the best and worst pieces of themselves, making the gods we know to this day.
