Creux, the Pit City
Creux a city within a reality of the multiverse. It is a pit that reaches from the surface and down into the underdark of its world.

Financial: Creux is a developed city. Common and Uncommon magic items can be bought at half price, since there are sufficient tools to make their production still profitable.
Travel: Traversing Creux takes time. It takes 45 minutes on average to ride the gondola from any district to another. This consists of 15 minutes each of waiting, traveling to the tower, and traveling from the tower. The Urchin background reduces this travel time to 30 minutes, rather than halving it, unlike other transportation.
Traveling to or from one ring layer to the next takes 20 minutes. (Current rings, from top to bottom, are The Rim Ring, The Depths Ring, and The Underdark.) It takes 30 minutes to walk the circumference between districts on the Depths Ring, and 1 hour for the Rim Ring or The Underdark.

An unusual law within Creux is the requirement for healthy denizens of a certain age to donate blood regularly. This is made easy and all but painless due to the medical facilities present inside the settlement.
Industry & Trade
Creux's medical industry is its main commodity. High quality medical goods are sold within its home dimension and even across dimensional boundaries in bulk. Rarely cross dimensional purchases will be made in smaller quantities. This is thanks to the aid of smaller teleportation methods.

Infrastructure
There is a water filtration plant that starts from a river at the top. Any excess water from the plant is dropped down into the underdark, where it continues. Creux's bustling medical market is its major financial boon, gathering some multiversal reknown. Its central tower is the only prominent feature throughout the settlement. This is mostly due to the intense smog, which limits how far light can travel. This tower and the gondolas, as in the enclosed cars you find traveling ski slopes, are the fundamental mass transit system for Creuxians.
Districts
The major dividing aspect of the city is its rings. These are the different main boulevards of the city, where vehicles have room to travel and many citizens walk to and from landmarks. There are a few paths or elevators that allow denizens to travel between layers on foot. Though they usually take a gondola if they must travel further than one layer.
There is also districts within the city distinguished by their locations on the wall or the depth dug into it. For example, the Emporium Stairways is a large concentration of markets located on the exterior of the walls. However, many specialized areas, such as the Medical Markets or the Stoneworks, are dug into the wall instead. This is to leave room for noncommercial residences or apartments directly connected to the pathways, which greatly open up how quickly citizens and visitors can travel within Creux.

(Note: Many revivification insurances do not cover souls that are sold to supernatural entities, placed into unaccessible objects, or otherwise made irretrievable.)
Architecture
The architecture is usually in the styles of Art Deco, Commercial, or Neoclassical.

Climate
Due to heavy pollution the city is covered in smog. This makes the environment dark, if you leave the normal paths.
