Underdark

The Underdark is a world under The Reach. Only some believe this exist. I could just write 'some say' all the time, but that would just be boring. Let's just go through the facts. But, there's one thing important to remember here, which is that only some believe this to be true, and everything said here is by no way proven to anyone in The Reach, so there is no reason for any character to know this or even to have heard of this. The existence of the Underdark is seen by many as pure bullshit, and the only way anyone would know about it is by reading about it in a book which talks about '20 terrible theories that people actually believe in'. OK, maybe that's a bit exagerated, but I think you know what I mean.   The Underdark is a place where entering will probalby cost you your life, unless you're incredibly strong. And when I say incredibly strong, I mean incredibly strong. Like lvl 15+ strong. So even though I am doing a little work on it now, this is probalby all I'll do. Except then say for adding locations that, according to legend, can be used to enter the Underdark. Even when my characters are lvl 15+, I don't expect they'll be interested in the Underdark. But once one character reaches it, I think I'll start and do some more work on the Underdark, if I have the time. Of cource, this is in the far future, so no-one knows what can happen. To be fair, I have never played in a campaign that includes the underdark, so I have no clue what the underdark of a normal DnD campaign holds. I had actually only heard of it, when I thought: that's a cool idea to steal, so I did. Enough talking: let's get to information about the Underdark.   The Underdark is an underground world. You can enter by many ways. One example is the Kahredan Ravines. In this world, pretty much everything is different than in the normal world. The creatures and plants from the underdark are seen as really strange to people from the normal world. Some of these creatures have found a way to get out of the Underdark. These creatures then got known as Creatures from Below. Because the Underdark is an underground world, there is no sunlight that enters it. All light in the underdark come from torches and magic. Still, there isn't much light down there. There are only a few civilized races in the Underdark, and there's only one race civilized enough to build cities; Tieflings. The rest of the creatures just live as beasts, because most of them are beasts. When it comes to Undead, the amount of Undead is enourmous. This is because there are very many very powerfull necromancer Tieflings. Many of these Undead have built there own socieities and they have their own kingdoms. Some Undead have even defied the Tieflings which has caused that there are many wars right now, inbetween undead controlled by Tieflings and 'free' undead.
