The Prismatic One

"And so, as he Ascended into the Heavens, Annam the All-Father crafted 11 being out of stone and clay to watch over and guide his giant-folk. These Titans as they would come to be known, led the giants into a millennia of conquest over the other races of the world. But the draconids had had enough, they saw themselves as the true rulers of the Nexus and so with the aid of Tiamat and Bahumut, a new champion was forged, the Prismatic One. This terrible dragon was infused with the power of the two gods and led the dragons in rebellion against Annam's children. Although together their power was immense, the Titans were not of the same level as the Prismatic One. One by one they were defeated, until the All-Father created the great Colossal Titan and gave the War Titan the wisdom to confine the Primsatic One. Using this wisdom they constructed 10 great towers that sent the Prismatic One to a Domain of Dread in the Shadowfell. Despite their victory, the Titans knew they were weak, and so they fled south, never to be seen again..." - An extract from an ancient giant tome found in the frozen, abandoned city of Jotunholm.   This is one of the many legends revolving around the ancient, supposed mythological dracon, the Prismatic One. A draconid so powerful it is said to have nearly defeated the entirety of Annam's children. Some other origins claim that the Prismatic One is a third aspect of Asgorath, one that represented the balance of conquest and harmony. This myth continues to claim they are are the creator of the gem dragons. No matter the major differences, one thing stays the same, the Prismatic One was locked away in a Domain of Dread within the Shadowfell.
