The High Principality of Ethealwan (Eth-Ale-Wan)
Once the second most influential city in the entire Nexus, the grand metropolis of Ethealwan soon withered away into a minor stronghold for the elven resistance during the many wars against the Illithid. It took millennia before it grew to a fifth of its original size after the mind flayers were driven from the Material Plane. However, in the last century, after recovering from a great invasion from the largest orcish horde in written records, the city and in turn the principality of Ethaelwan's influence and power has greatly increased. And with the rediscovery of some once lost elven technologies and magics, and a wealth of resources found in the Greatpeak Mountains to their east, this power is only set to expand.
It is in the shame of the past that we gain hope for the future.
